Sr. Product Manager / Business Analyst
At Railroad19, we develop customized software solutions and provide software development services. We are currently seeking a talented senior level Product Manager / Business Analyst to be responsible for working with key stakeholders to: facilitate, identify, document, and groom client requirements and features. While this roll does not require the applicant to wire-frame or create proof-of-concepts, a comfort level with white-boarding would be a nice to have. Applicant will spend time learning current (design) patterns and functionality to enhance and refine an existing product. The applicant should feel comfortable creating and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and team members. Creating these relationships requires strong communication skills.

Core Responsibilities:
- Work with existing applications and patterns to maintain a level of consistency across enhancements and new applications
- Identify style, functionality standards, and page logic for Quality Assurance and Support
- Work with stakeholders, project managers and developers to iteratively arrive at the final product
- Facilitate discussions about enhancements and new features
- Manage the process of identifying requirements needed to build MVPs while considering the process needed to ‘ice box’ nice-to-haves
- Work closely to help designers and implementers recognize the bigger picture of the final product
- Partner with project managers and key stakeholders to help manage deliverables, identify risks, and provide insight into alternatives
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Human Computer Interface, UX related area of study, or experience building software products
- Working in an Agile work environment
- Knowledge of design principles and UX strategies
- Strong team-building and customer relations skills
- Must be analytical/process-oriented and be able to apply structure to complex problems
- Comfort participating in an iterative design process resulting in rapid ideation
- Comfort level with balancing needs vs wants
- Must be an independent worker and be able to keep momentum
- Balance more than one product at a time, but manage cohesiveness across all product initiatives
- Experience working with training resources to identify change management and training/on-boarding strategies
