We are now looking for a Web Designer that can help us create the overall consistency, look and feel of our products.
As a Web Designer at Snow, you will join one of our product teams within R&D, supporting developers, product owners as well as internal stakeholders. You will work closely with your team mates in developing new concepts and components to ensure great user experience for our customers.
We need someone who understands functionality with beautiful design, and how that magic creates value for our customers. We think you are someone who has great passion for UI design and keep up with the latest design trends. Also, that you have a product mindset to create that familiar feeling in between all of our products.
We are currently working with our own developed UI framework using atomic design principles in pattern lab. Our pattern lab is our living style guide that help us create the overall consistency, look and feel of our products. The framework is web technology independent to make sure it is applicable cross product. Our solutions are developed using different technologies such as Node, AngularJS or Knockout.
To succeed in this role, you need to be able to transfer the design into reality with skills in HTML and CSS. Preferably you also know JavaScript to contribute in adding functionality to our designs.
Qualifications
· HTML5
· CSS3/ Pre-processors LESS or SASS
· Naming methodologies like BEM, eCSS or similar
· Responsive web design
· Cross browser compatibility
