We are looking for a Java developer (backend) for an immediate opening on a long-term client contract.
Job tasking is centered around development of a Java-based message driven API / REST service. Candidate should be familiar with the Java ecosystem of tools as well as best practices when it comes to system design. Minimal focus on frontend UI development.

Skills & Requirements
Must have a STEM degree and 4+ years of Software Engineering experience with working knowledge of the following:
- Object-Oriented Design with Java
- RESTful API Design
- Basic front end development - JavaScript / CSS
- BASH / Python scripting
- Git
- Linux
Preference is given to developers with experience in the following:
- Masters Degree in a STEM field
- Java Certifications
