Comcast is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our exciting Xfinity Mobile team. XFINITY Mobile combines the nation's largest 4G LTE network, covering 98% of the U.S. population with 18 million Wi-Fi hotspots.

A day in the life of the Technical Business Analyst
Coordinates with Product Owner and internal stakeholders to understand and analyze feature requests
Coordinates with Product Owner and Designers to define user story requirements and acceptance criteria
Effectively communicates requirements for the design, development and testing of business solutions
Elicits, identifies, analyzes, models and documents customer requirements, ensuring they are understandable, complete, unambiguous, testable and meet the real needs of stakeholders
Creates design mock-ups as needed to facilitate better understanding of requirements
Performs impact analysis with Tech Leads and engineering stakeholders to assign stories to proper development teams
Responsible for the management and traceability of project requirements
Educates the Product Owner on Agile and Scrum best practices, especially with respect to grooming and maintenance of the product backlog
Works with Product Owner and cross-functional engineering team to continually ensure Product Backlog is groomed and estimated
Coordinates with Product Owner and Scrum Master to prioritize user stories and meet program goals and timelines
Builds, prunes and maintains the product backlog with input from the Product Owner, Tech Lead, Scrum Master and other stakeholders
Works with cross-functional engineering teams to groom and estimate sprint and product backlogs
Facilitates the process for "Just-in-time" story creations and acceptance criteria by working closely with the team to break down backlog items into user stories for implementation
Establishes ongoing, effective two-way communication between the team and business stakeholders to ensure the team is meeting the customers' needs
Participates in Sprint Planning, Scrums, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies
Works with the Scrum Master and Product Owners to facilitate preparation and readiness for each planning session
Works with development team to establish Sprint Goals
Works with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Program Management to assure strategy and execution alignment
Assists in the planning, execution, and analysis of user acceptance testing to ensure test cases and completed user stories meet the Product Owner's expectations
Instrumental in producing aggregated, system/product demos for key program stakeholdersServes as liaison between the Development team and the Product Owner(s)
Works with Designers and Architects to identify feature requests requiring upfront design or API changes
Co-locates with the Scrum Team and serves as the customer proxy for solution

Basic Qualifications
5+ years as a Business Analyst
3+ years working experience in API-driven platforms
3+ years creating user stories
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience required


Preferred Qualifications
4+ years working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Excellent understanding of solution architecture, development processes, and current technologies
Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation
Experience supporting multiple technical projects simultaneously
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Strong understanding of Agile development processes
Experience working with web and/or mobile software development, QA and operations teams
Experience using Jira and Confluence tracking and collaboration tools
Ability to multitask and react in a fast-paced organization
Ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
Experience in creating and maintaining system architecture diagrams (Rationale, OmniGraffle, System Architect, etc.)
Experience with Agile tracking and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Self-starter with experience working on projects with limited direction
Ability to accurately and objectively evaluate complex risks and issues
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and explain technical concepts at various levels
Strong organization and prioritization skills with an ability to manage competing demands
Ability to promote process improvement and be an advocate for change
Strong process orientation
Experience using software development tools like JIRA (preferred), Team Foundation Server, Rally etc
