SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER - PERM - TAMPA, FL

Design, analyze, Implement, test, and document software applications using Cloud Native
concepts
Contributes to the planning for acceptance testing and implementation of new software,
performing supporting activities to ensure that customers have the information and
assistance they need for a successful implementation.
Provides input to the work project plan, performs technical review of applications and peers'
work and develops proposals for improvements.

Sr. Software Engineer Skill Requirements:

2+ years of experience supporting mission critical production applications deployed in the cloud - Specifically Azure
Strong understanding of Cloud Native development principals
Strong scripting skills - Python, Shell scripts
Strong knowledge of Java
Understanding of REST and SOAP
Experience with continuous integration using Jenkins, log collection, and analysis, version control
systems like Bitbucket or SVN
Strong experience deploying Docker containers in a shared cluster environment


Preferred:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Experience with maintaining applications in a Linux environment
Knowledge of IP Networking, Network Security, Firewalls and DDOS mitigation
Experience with application, performance and security monitoring and resolution
