BACK END JAVA DEVELOPER - CONTRACT TO PERM - CHAPEL HILL, NC
Back End Java Developer Requirements:
* Full-stack developer experience
* 5+ years' experience working on SaaS based applications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* Expertise coding in Java, J2EE, and with JSON data structures
* Expertise in Service Oriented Design & implementing RESTful APIs, WSDL, XSD, Web services and XML
* Strong SQL skills and experience writing stored procedures
* Solid experience with Apache and Tomcat
* Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
* Good object-oriented design skills
* Familiarity with Design patterns; MVC architecture; JSP and AJAX; Maven, Subversion (SVN), Jenkins, GIT and ANT
* Passionate about all things related to development
* Experience in Single Sign-On (SSO)
* Experience with messaging API such as JMS
Back End Java Developer Responsibilities:
* Develop application features using Java technologies
* Create and update complex SQL queries
* Database optimization
* Design and develop platform services and their RESTful interfaces
* Provide expertise on technologies
* Assist in defining software architectures
* Estimate workload requirements
* Write well-maintainable, reusable code
* Respond to support issues
