In your new role as an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll be developing the foundational software that will transform our products into true digital devices as part of a connected ecosystem. We’re looking for Software Engineers who are willing to apply their skills to new and exciting challenges, including the development of embedded software for our Electronic Control Units, with a focus on product impact and scope of innovation.


You’ll help us to solve key software problems, using a variety of problem-solving tools and methodologies to eliminate issues through analysis and testing, and regularly coach and mentor others in your findings and subject matter expertise. 


WHAT YOU’LL NEED 


You’ll be capable of technically defining, developing, and maintaining full software using enhanced knowledge of embedded Operating Systems such as Linux and QNX Neutrino, alongside experience of developing embedded software in C or C++. You’ll have good knowledge of software structures and architectures, as well as the software development process and industry tool sets. 


Ideally you’ll be degree educated, bringing prior experience of working with automotive system functions such as powertrain, chassis, infotainment or advanced driver assistance systems. Any exposure to telecoms, cloud / fog systems, or Linux application development is highly desirable.
