Senior Software Engineer at SugarCRM (Cupertino, CA)

We are looking for exceptional front-end engineers who can help architect, design and implement key front-end components of SugarCRM's core products. Expertise in open-source technologies, modern web standards / best practices, JavaScript and its ecosystem are required for this position.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, you love it and understand all its quirks

  • Solid experience with object-oriented programming concepts applicable to JavaScript

  • Proficiency in client-side technologies (HTML5, CSS3)

  • Prior experience with Git

  • Prior database and integration experience using REST APIs, SQL, and web services


Responsibilities



  • Create, improve and maintain core application framework and shared components

  • Work with Product Management and UX to understand, analyze and implement product requirements

  • Follow proven design patterns, write readable, testable and well-documented code

  • Extend and optimize current software architecture

  • Participate in design and code reviews sessions as part of our development cycle

  • Evaluate, identify and suggest appropriate technology choices

  • Explore and evangelize new software design and architecture

  • Adapt to a fast-paced collaborative environment

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication abilities, flexibility, and commitment to meeting deadlines are a must


Location: Cupertino, CA
