You will join a team of talented, diverse group of peers building out our new Marketing Automation platform which will enable our B2B Marketing team to successfully perform all aspects of Marketing operations. The successful candidate in this role will have a strong technical background as well as an understanding of marketing and associated business processes to get actively involved in our upcoming Marketing Cloud implementation project.

Challenges you will be pursuing as a Marketing Systems Developer:



  • You will start fast with the official kick-off of Marketing Cloud implementation coming up quickly

  • Explore the varied data landscape at Realtor.com, data dependencies, data integration and automation opportunities needed to develop the SFMC platform

  • Design and establish data architecture in the new platform which will enable the B2B Marketing team at Realtor.com to successfully plan and execute campaigns in the most efficient way.

  • You will help construct and establish Marketing system standards and practices which will help the B2B Marketing team to realize their Marketing objectives.


The following is relevant to us:



  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform knowledge

  • Experience in design, implementation, and support of Marketing automation systems, and integrating with external data systems to push/pull data

  • Background in building seamless integrations with other systems

  • Strong understanding of relational data models,

  • Passion for all things SQL and Excel

  • SOAP APIs, REST APIs, and integration techniques

  • Excellent understanding of data dependencies and design for marketing cloud journeys and campaigns

  • Background working with Email Studio, Journey builder, campaign creation/management, including data configuration, audience creation, and utilization of capabilities in the SFMC platform

  • Drive marketing infrastructure and customization of the marketing automation platform including scoring, multi-touch drip nurture and broadcast emails, profiling, segmentation, workflows and ROI reporting

  • Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Force.com Explorer, Workbench, Eclipse Force.com IDE)

  • Understanding of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and AMPScripting

  • Technical background with a proven history of understanding complex systems
