SIGAO looking for talented, passionate developers to join a dynamic consulting and coaching startup. Our Senior Developer position is an active, sage member of an Agile team building software for a variety of innovative, creative and impactful customers.


What are we looking for?  We are looking for people that love to learn and want to grow with a startup company as we build cool Web-based applications for a variety of industries including healthcare, finance and banking, e-government and others. We build teams of self-directed experts that work closely with our clients to deliver business critical applications. Our team members should care about creating great code, interacting with cool customers and working as part of a driven team of experts. 


What kind of technology do we use? We are Microsoft partners and do most of our work in .NET with C#, and use Angular/JavaScript/TypeScript for our front-end interfaces. Our applications are cloud based using Azure and AWS, and we focus significant effort on building Devops-focused, CI/CD environments.

Agile (scrum) development
Visual Studio Team Services
C# / .NET
Angular / JavaScript / TypeScript (we even use some Ruby and Ember occasionally)
Azure and AWS (but mostly Azure)
Microsoft Dynamics 365

What makes us different? We are a startup team with leadership that is passionate about building the skills and expertise of our teams. There isn't much time for micromanagement, thus we are a very team-driven organization that challenges each other to constantly build their skills and build quality relationships with customers that are building cool, impactful products. 


What makes this position different from others we are looking for? Our senior developer role is works on an Agile team as a mentor and architect. We expect that this member joins the company with the ability to mentor across some (or most) of our typical stack. This person helps ensure other team members are able to build high-quality, test-driven code that meets the highest standards of good Agile engineering. This person is a great communicator, great at striving to understand the needs of our customers and building software solutions that meet those needs. 


What do we expect out of applicants for this position?



Degree in Computer Science or related field or comparable relevant experience
3-5 years-experience working in software development
Have some experience with most of the technologies in our stack, and are willing to learn others
Show some level of expertise in at least three of our technology platforms
Willing and able to mentor others
Great at communicating and interacting with customers
Looking forward to actively contributing to the life and growth of Sigao Studios
