Senior Engineer for Private Cloud / BigData at INFARE (Kraków, Poland)

Location: Krokow or Vilnius

To achieve these goals, we will be hiring a number of experienced Data platform Engineers, who will join our team based in Copenhagen or Vilnius.


As our company is going through an exponential growth, we decided to transform our backend to use all the newest and coolest technologies that are out there. As a Senior Engineer for Cloud Solutions, you will develop infrastructure as a code, work with large distributed systems and virtualization platforms, and work on automated deployment as well as integration tests. You will have an amazing opportunity to learn about cutting-edge technologies which are used in our back-end system such as distributed databases, Hadoop and Spark components, clustered services etc. 


The role:



  • develop application which manage orchestration and software release lifecycle in clustered environments

  • develop pipelines on build systems

  • develop integration test automation


It will be great if you have:



  •  Working knowledge of JVM languages (Java, Scala or Groovy)

  • Practice with scripting in at least one common language (Python, Perl, PowerShell, Bash)

  • Strong practice with Linux environment and internals

  • Experience in writing SQL

  • Cloud experience (AWS, OpenStack or other)

  • Understanding of orchestration tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef or others


 It will be considered a Plus if you:



  • Experience with build systems (Jenkins, TeamCity, others)

  • Experience with Docker and container-based build infrastructures

  • Understanding of the Big Data technologies’ basics (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)

  • Understanding of the microservice architecture of the systems

  • Ability to quickly shift to a variety of development environments
