Requirements:
• Experience working in a DevOps environment in a team containing multiple
skill sets across development, QA, and systems specialisations.
Willing to jump in on any problem as it emerges.
• Strong knowledge of the Python programming language.
• Excellent knowledge of the modern Python ecosystem.
• Experience in shell scripting.
• Extensive experience with automation tools (preferably Ansible).
• System administration experience of the Linux-based systems (we use Ubuntu).
• Experience with Git and Gitlab CI
• Experience with Kubernetes and it’s integration
• Experience with virtualization and containerization tools (Docker)
• Experience with AWS stack
• Understanding of HA architectures
• Experience with working on low latency real-time application is a big plus.
• Practical experience of the troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• At least Intermediate level of written and spoken English.
Will be a plus:
• The ability to work both on your own and collaboratively with developers team.
• Pro-active, can do attitude and willingly getting involved to do things
that need to be done in time.
• To be positive and friendly but not scared to speak your mind.
Responsabilities:
• Build and maintain tools and code pipelines, including automation of all builds
and deployments.
• Automate the provisioning, configuration, scaling, and monitoring
of production environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Deploy and operate monitoring and alerting
• Apply updates and backups, and perform other maintenance tasks as needed
• Assist with documentation of systems and processes
• Available for periodic off-hours support when needed for high availability
and scalability.
