Position Overview:


As a member of our Engineering team you will write code that helps internal and external users derive insight from data, streamline workflow, and communicate results.


Key Responsibilities



  • Create technical visualizations and plots

  • Automatically generate reports that extract and communicate results

  • Build web-based user interfaces to simplify and speed analysis


Required Qualifications:



  • Experience with the R language (secondary preference for MATLAB/Python)

  • Proficiency with visual display of quantitative information

  • Major in computer science, math, engineering, physical science, or related field


 Preferred Qualifications:



  • Demonstrated results with R’s base plotting or ggplot2 – bonus points if you submit examples

  • Familiarity with R’s Shiny framework – bonus points if you provide a URL to your live app

  • 1+ year of experience in an agile development environment, including bug tracking and source control

  • Experience managing or working with remote/offshore development teams

  • A passion for driving down the cost of energy from renewable sources
