We are looking for a talented Junior to Mid-level Full Stack Engineer to help build out a portal for managing backend services, to implement various web crawling logic based on business needs, and also to build tools to improve the management of the platform. The candidate will be working with product managers and core platform developers in a start-up like environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 2+ years experience with JavaScript (ES6/7) programming and debugging
- 1+ years experience using modern web frameworks (AngularJS 2+, React, etc.)
- 1+ years experience using SQL based databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Ability to write reliable/maintainable code
- Ability to write clean/coherent documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience creating REST APIs
- Experience building web portals for managing backend services
- Experience in designing and implementing database schemas
- Experience working in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment (e-commerce or other high scale services)
- Ability to reverse engineer a website
- Ability to find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems and communicate them effectively
- Leadership qualities in an engineering environment in order to drive operational excellence and best practices
