Schrödinger, a technology leader specializing in software solutions for life science research and development, is seeking an ERP Programmer/Administrator to play a critical role in the administration and improvement of our corporate data management system. The ERP Programmer/Administrator will maintain data integrity, continuously improve the usability of the application, and work closely with management to launch new features and functions. The ERP Programmer/ Administrator will join a small but dedicated team of programmers and systems integration specialists at the Schrödinger office in Portland, Oregon. Creatively integrating data between systems, and crafting reports critical to business decisions are central to this position.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate between departments to understand their business processes; customize and configure systems accordingly
- Develop custom scripts, forms, reports, dashboards, and KPIs
- Integrate ERP and CRM with other internal and external applications
- Document, maintain, and update system-level customizations and training materials
- Provide training to individuals and user groups within the company
- Provide help-desk assistance to geographically dispersed users
- Provide advanced reporting and searching assistance
- Perform day-to-day administration of ERP system
- Troubleshoot and quickly resolve issues with ERP system and integration elements as they arise
- Manage data import, data cleansing, deduplication, optimization, and data maintenance efforts
- Manage multiple concurrent projects or requests while collaborating and coordinating with teammates
Qualifications:
- Experience working with ERP or CRM systems in similar roles
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, git, and web services
- Meaningful experience with NetSuite, CRM and/or JIRA is a huge plus
- Knowledge of Typescript, C# and SQL are a plus
- Experience in a multinational environment is a plus
- Experience with Agile and CI methodologies is a huge plus
- Take great pride and ownership in work
- Be VERY detailed-oriented
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to solve complex problems through research and analysis
- Eagerness to learn new and varied technologies and business processes on the job
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
