We are looking for a talented Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help build our desktop and mobile web experiences for our U.S. e-commerce marketplace. The candidate will be working with product managers and designers in a start-up like environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years of software engineering with full development life cycle
- 3+ years of Ruby on Rails programming and debugging skills
- 3+ years working in a software as a service environment (e-commerce or other high scale services)
- Software development experience in Ruby, C#, Java and/or Swift
- Experience with modern web frameworks such as ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, React
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing technical leadership for a team
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
- Strong ability to design software and system architectures, and communicate them effectively
- Experience improving web latency in complex large-scale deployments
- Experience creating new successful REST APIs
- Create reliable/maintainable code, and find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems
- Demonstrate leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices
