As a Front End Engineer at Flocabulary, youll focus your expertise on crafting elegant and engaging experiences and interfaces for our users. Youll work with Product Managers and Designers, influencing decisions in how Flocabularys application should look and feel. Youll use your skills in HTML5, CSS3 and modern Javascript to build software that brings joy to our users, working with fellow members of the engineering team. Youll help architect and maintain a library of UI components that make up the building blocks of our application. The Front End Engineer will report to our Software Engineering Lead.

Responsibilities
You will build interfaces for Flocabulary's front-end application, using CSS3, HTML5 and Javascript within the React framework.
Specifically, the Front End Engineer will:
- Work as part of a team with Designers and Full Stack engineers to build new features maximizing usability and user joy.
- Collaborate with Product Managers on UX and wireframes
- Build and maintain a library of web components that define a consistent visual vocabulary for our site.
- Advocate for users of our application, working to make our software as intuitive and delightful as possible.
- Occasionally work with the marketing department to improve email templates, landing pages, visual ads, print outs and mobile app styles.
