The Role
We are looking for an inspiring and motivated Sales Engineering Manager to join our growing company. Reporting to the VP of Worldwide Sales, you will help drive growth by providing technical expertise to prospective customers, leading/scaling the enterprise sales engineering team and contributing to strategy as a part of our global sales leadership team.
Cool Things You’ll Do
- Own the leadership, management, and strategy of the of the SE org
- Collaborate across all departments to advance the technical dynamics of our GTM strategy.
- Align closely with the product org to ensure value proposition is represented fully and in a compelling fashion across sales and customer feedback is channeled to product productively.
- Partner with Marketing on demo strategy and field marketing
- Develop, present, and deliver compelling product demos and technical presentations for customers to fully demonstrate the strategic benefits of our platform in service of their needs
- Consult with customers to gather insights into requirements and product offerings in service of meeting their business objectives
- Work with sales leadership team to optimize sales training, customer lifecycle management and optimize sales processes
What You Bring To The Table
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 5+ years sales engineering experience
- Highly technical and curious to know, grow, and learn more
- Desire and ability to be both coach and player and to create impact in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a winner’s mentality combined with excellent interpersonal skills and leadership presence
Bonus Points For
- PaaS/SaaS experience
- 1-2+ years management experience
- Experience in marketing technology, open source, website development
