WHAT YOU'LL DO: POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of mission critical multi-tier web based applications. He/ She will work on next generation platform/tools in the real estate space. He/ She will work closely with Development, QA and Business Analyst teams, brainstorm solutions, implement, launch and support high quality production systems.
Daily Job Duties:
- Build next generation applications to solve complex problems in the real estate industry
- Work with a world-class engineering and product team to deliver innovative products for our customers
- Design, build, and test high quality complex frameworks and systems while diagnosing and resolving complex issues
- Implement continuous build and automated unit tests
- Brainstorm architectures and designs with the team, and assist/mentor other junior developers in the team
WHO YOU ARE: EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or a related field) required
- 6+ years of experience developing software for enterprise level applications and their infrastructure.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience and demonstrable expertise with the following technologies/methodologies:
- C#, ASP.NET, MVC, MS SQL Server, SQL stored procedures, TFS
- JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, ReactJS
- SOAP and REST web services
- Agile Methodology such as SCRUM
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as required to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams, or independently as needed, with the ability to self-manage against deadlines and project expectations
- A customer driven approach and good customer management skills
- Ability to identify problems, apply creative solutions, and support high quality, availability, and performance
