Harris Healthcare Financial Solutions Group is looking for a VB6 Software Developer to join the team. As a member of the development team, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain functionality enabling our customers to run claim information against CMS edits and allows issue resolution prior to billing. The technology platform automates billing and follow-up activities using the EDI transaction sets standardized and mandated by HIPPA.
The qualified candidate will be based out of the Herndon, VA or Lake Mary, FL office.
Primary Functions:
- Implements proven software patterns to allow maximum extensibility, reuse, and testability.
- Learn and share through information training, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Collaborate to define, design, and accurately estimate time and resources for development initiatives.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Develop product enhancements and supporting documentation.
- Maintain and document existing product.
- Provide effective solutions to problems which cannot be resolved by product team.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on software development.
- 3+ years developing, debugging, and testing:
- Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Basic .Net
- SQL
- Deliver product tasks utilizing an Agile Framework.
- Excellent presentation skills to senior and product management
- Background check required.
- On-call rotation.
