Hyperion/OBIEE Application Developer
Key Role:
Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software, troubleshoot production problems related to software applications, and research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion or integration of new products based on client requirements. Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Assist with the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages and application integration and testing tools. Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Basic Qualifications:
-15+ years of experience in technology with an emphasis on data design and architecture
-Experience with the administration and configuration of Oracle BI Server 11g or 12c and the OBIEE repository, including physical, business model, and mapping and presentation layers
-Experience with developing reports and dashboards using pivot tables, charts, and view selector and developing Oracle OBIEE Metadata repository for the .rpd model using aggregates, dimensions, hierarchies, and time series functions
-Experience with data modeling, including conceptual, logical and physical model design, Star Schema and Snowflake schema design, fact and dimensions tables, and physical and logical data modeling
-Experience with implementing userlevel security for dashboards and reports based on business requirements and comprehending the fundamentals of the data warehouse life cycle, including various schema types and master data management
-Experience with development using the ETL platform
-Experience with Oracle Essbase BI tool, Oracle Public Sector Planning and Budgeting (PSPB) implementation for employee and position configuration, and Hyperion profitability and cost management
-Experience with creating new EPM applications, maintaining existing applications, and interfacing data between EPM applications and relational data systems
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-MA or MS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with TSQL in SQL Server 2008R2 a plus
-Active DHS Suitability or a Top Secret clearance preferred
