Harris Healthcare Financial Solutions Group is looking for a Software Developer to join the team. As a member of the development team, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain functionality enabling our customers to run claim information against CMS edits and allows issue resolution prior to billing. The technology platform automates billing and follow-up activities using the EDI transaction sets standardized and mandated by HIPPA.
Primary Functions:
- Implements proven software patterns to allow maximum extensibility, reuse, and testability.
- Learn and share through information training, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Champions a “do it right the first time” attitude.
- Identifies and communicates potential risks and roadblocks on projects.
- Collaborate to define, design, and accurately estimate time and resources for development initiatives.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Develop product enhancements and supporting documentation.
- Maintain and document existing product.
- Ability to work independently and as a team contributor.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Provide effective solutions to problems which cannot be resolved by product team.
- Ability to interact with, and accept direction from multiple managers and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management applications is required.
