| You will be working on our internal tracking and campaign management platform - the productivity and business management tool with a very demanding group of power users.
As part of the Front End team you will ensure our application is loved by your team mates for its well-architectured design and adored by your users for its ease of use and simplicity.
In particular your responsibilities will be:
- Ensure a well designed front end system that can grow and incorporate the many features on our roadmap
- Take technical decisions and set internal technology standards in cooperation with the front end and back end teams
- Be the first point of contact for the back end team
- Develop new features while always striving to improve the development process
- Bring the application and the technical team around it to the next level
You bring:
- Strong architectural mindset with focus on producing reusable and maintainable code
- Strong communicator with the ability to make technical decisions and ensure the buy in from the team
- Willingness to learn and promote change to every aspect of the development process
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience
- 2+ years of React development experience and complete understanding of its core principles
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs and good understanding of when (not) to use these
- Experience with common test frameworks
- Working knowledge of the general landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, Docker)
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
