Ambitious, technically excellent, creative and highly experienced (10+ years) Front-end Developer with a passion for working with emerging technologies and practices, while pushing the envelope to invoke positive change for the broader community.
As a natural collaborator and team player who has equal parts experience in working on large complex commercial websites and extensive knowledge of up-to-date software practices and technologies, you can understand key stakeholders to derive the true requirements, driving these through to completion.
Your understanding of how performance is affected by the code you write and the significant impact this can have on business drives your success as well as the Organisation’s success and growth.
The opportunity
As you learn the ropes of LanternPay and our industry, you will build and support the apps and services that comprise the LanternPay platform and become an integral part of the cross-functional development team. Once successful, you will meaningfully contribute to software architecture, design and agile practices, applying your skills to our portfolio of single page hybrid web/mobile apps.
Through the rapid prototyping, design and build of applications, you will have a direct impact on the evolution our product and therefore help us meet our business targets.
Essential skills:
- Ready to take ownership of our approach to front-end single page app architecture and code design
- Experience with or exposure to a majority of:
- Open-source JavaScript Libraries like Angular, React, Backbone or similar
- CSS tools: LESS, SASS/SCSS or PostCSS
- Npm & Gulp, Grunt or other build systems
- Module Bundlers like JSPM, Webpack or Browserify
- JS unit testing
- Experience with AWS
