What you will do:

• Day-to-day, you will apply software engineering principles to develop and deliver quality software solutions as part of the Engineering team.
• Design for change and write elegant, testable and efficient code.
• Simultaneously handle multiple tasks, contributing in all phases of the development life cycle.
• Support continuous delivery of software through the development of relevant artefacts that support the constant efficient iteration of the software.
• Embrace technologies that assist in the development and delivery of high quality software that is fit for purpose.

You will have:

• An appreciation of the role of software in powering today’s digital businesses.
• An empathetic communication-style, and are motivated by an opportunity to help clients solve their key challenges.
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to work with little or no supervision.
• A hands-on approach, be an innovative thinker, and have a proven track record in your area of discipline.

You will need:

• A track record of consistent software development with modern languages that are fit for purpose.
• Experience in all facets of designing, developing, delivering and iterating quality software.
• Experience applying design patterns to technical problems.
• An understanding of frameworks, toolbox’s and libraries that allow the development of modern software.
• To have built software for multiple purposes and a proven ability to adapt to particular business domains.
• Solid experience with modern IDEs, Source control and build management tools.
• To have worked with teams that embrace agile techniques and approaches to software delivery.
• To have a test driven approach to software components with exposure and experience with testing frameworks.
