Your tasks as Software Developer:
- independently use agile software developing methods to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that enhance the customer and employee experience while considering regulatory limitations
- work in an agile environment with cross-functional product development teams to build prototypes and products, and continuously deliver product enhancements that meet user needs
- self-reliantly make decisions on usable software and technology, and coordinate relevant external partner and service provider as well as independently support sales experts with technical know how
- independently oversee the development and optimisation of software solutions in cooperation with external partner as well as service provider and secure high quality product development as well as production by conducting quality checks and assuring quality standards
- establish contributions to open source software development, standardisation of technologies, and evolution of best practices by collaborating with peers, releasing products, presenting at conferences, and PR (e.g., magazines and social media)
- autonomously build up and share knowledge of technology standards, trends, as well as development and production best practices by attending relevant events (e.g., trade fairs, conferences) and monitoring market developments
Your profile as Software Developer:
- a university degree (BSc or MSc) in Computer Science, Telecommunication, or comparable (similar major or verifable very good, relevant experience) as well as business fluent German and English language skills
- expertise and long-standing experience in software developing (e.g., large scale IoT or embedded systems, big data, machine learning, or analytics, or full-stack programming), preferable for comparable products, combined with experience at working in cross-functional teams (i.e., with hardware engineers) in a UX driven environment
- international work experience, intercultural sensitivity, and willingness to travel
- a depth and breadth understanding of the digital technology space (i.e., public infrastructure, Smart City, IoT, Smart Poles)
- a confident and friendly appearance when engaging with internal and external contacts as well as the willingness to contribute to a culture of mutual trust and respect that is result-driven and ego-free
- passion for growing your skills and tackling challenging problems in combination with eagerness to work proactively in teams together with clients and partners and being competitive about winning as a team
