ABOUT THE ROLE
Your role as a Test Automation Developer is to build and maintain a framework for automation testing throughout the product development cycle. You will be working in a newly started software test team. We work with defect prevention, rather than defect detection. The tech team is scaling up, and we are working towards setting up Behaviour Driven Development in Feature Teams in order to be able to work more effectively, while we are scaling up our efficiency. You will be working towards both mobile and web products, where you will be responsible for solving the test automation challenges in the most effective way.

Responsibilities:
- Developing the automation test framework for web and mobile
- Maintaining the automation test framework
- Scripting Test Cases
- Maintaining Regression Test Suites
- Have the passion and hunger to figure out new technologies and to continuously enhance your own skills
Requirements:
- You have built automation test frameworks before
- You have knowledge about software testing
- You have knowledge about requirements engineering
Desired mindset and experiences:
- Ability to work on a self-organized team, where your tasks are coordinated with teammates rather than having tasks assigned to you.
- Constant thirst for learning and improvement.
- Have the passion and hunger to figure out new technologies and to continuously enhance your own skills.
- Ability to communicate in a team environment
- Knowledge and test of APIs in large-scale distributed systems a plus.
- Experience testing web and mobile application.
- Capable of writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases and product documentation and requirements.
- Knowledge of types of software testing (black box, functional, smoke, sanity, integration, usability, compatibility, user acceptance and regression testing).
- Hands-on experience with web/mobile automated testing tools by using (Selenium, Appium, XCodeUI).
- Experience with testing of RESTful web/mobile services using (POSTMAN, SOAPUI or other).
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, NeoLoad).
- Experience with version control and CI / CD procedures and tools (Jenkins, CircleCI or other).
