We are now looking for a Technical Lead to join our Software Engineering Team in Melbourne.
The prime purpose of this role is to provided technical leadership across projects relating to Luxury Escapes' online platforms.
With a deep understanding of how to bring to life technical web solutions in a microservices environment you’ll work across React, Redux, Node.JS, AWS Lambda,ensuring that the Luxury Escapes platform maintains a low level of technical debt and is at the forefront of travel booking sites.
What you will do:
- Lead project teams, providing coaching and supporting across projects, technical guidance
- Be a hands-on subject matter expert onNode.js APIs and React applications, overseeing and delivering projects
- Review work and assisting developers with complex technical problems
- Build trust and provide technical thought leadership to guide stakeholders on technical direction
- Deliver an exceptional internal customer experience through a confident, positive and creative problem-solving mindset
- Work closely with the Product Team on technical planning and decisions
- Supporting hiring activity and help grow the team in Melbourne
Key Skills Required:
- You will have extensive experience in full stack web development
- Expert knowledge of Javascript (Node, React, Redux)
- Demonstrable experience of leading software engineering teams
- Be comfortable working in an iterative development environment
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, be adept at communicating technical solutions to non technical leadership
- Preferable - have worked on eCommerce/travel sites
