Software Engineer
Reports To: Team lead.
Job Overview:
As a software engineer you are responsible for designing and building software of production grade quality within your domain.
You are expected to develop solutions as they occur and report any critical problems to lead.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Work with team members to deliver software agreed with the team lead.
Developing software system validation and testing methods.
Developing documentation.
Working closely with clients and cross-functional departments on cross-disciplinary projects.
Monitoring system performance.
Applying best practices and standard operating procedures.
Creating innovative solutions to meet our company’s technical needs.
Testing new software and fixing bugs.
Escalation of issues to the Team Lead.
Shaping the future of our systems.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or another related field.
Hands-on programming experience using relevant languages.
Experience using relevant tool suites.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative problem-solving skills.
The ability to prioritize activities and deliver tasks on time.
A comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.
Knowledge of agile methodologies.
