Job Title: Staff Software Engineer
Job Type: Permanent/Full-Time
Location: Miami, FL
Salary: $180-200K
Responsibilities
- Drive full life-cycle software development
- Drive the development process through design, implementation, and deployment
- Build storage systems, libraries, and frameworks
- Regularly focus on cross-engineering initiatives, evangelizing best practices on architecture, technical debt, documentation, etc to both your team and other teams
- Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement proactively
- Write clean, tested, and well-documented code
- Prototype ideas quickly using cutting edge technologies and also help with estimating engineering effort; plan implementation, and rollout system changes
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science, a related field, or similar college level education
- 10+ years of industry experience
- Strong foundation in software architecture, design, data structures and algorithms
- Fluency with Java, C++, Go, Python, or similar (our main language is Java)
- Open to new technologies and creative solutions
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced high growth startup environment
