Your new role
Reporting to the Development Manager, this role will see you focus on design, development and support of enterprise GIS and web and mobile applications using ESRI and open source software. Your agile experience will also see you leading a team, assisting in delivering best practice solutions to your end clients.
What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated experience in technologies such as ArcGIS and Quantum GIS. In addition to, ESRI geodatabases, SQL Server and PostgreSQL. Moreover, you will also be well versed in mobile, desktop and web applications using ASP.NET, C#, Python, HTML and JavaScript. You will also be an excellent communicator who is capable of delivering to dedicated timelines and deliverables.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a GIS Developer.
- 2 years in a Client facing management role for small projects and teams.
- Experience with GIS Soft wares like ArcGIS and Quantum GIS.
- Experience with implementation of spatial databases like ESRI Geodatabases, SQL Server Native spatial and PostgresSQL / PostGIS.
- Spatial server configuration.
- Design and dev experience with Geocortex, ArcGIS Online/Portal, ArcGIS JavaScript API and OpenSource frameworks.
- Report and Proposal writing
- Experience in project management, pricing and quoting projects.
