Sr. FrontEnd Developer (Angular)
A rapidly growing startup in the Downtown Atlanta area with an income-building platform is seeking a Sr. FrontEnd Developer (Angular) who is excited to play a major role in the product and engineering evolution. You will work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and your team to help define, implement, and ship significant increments to a mission-driven product offering.
Responsibilities:
- Work across all phases of the software development lifecycle in a cross-functional, agile development team
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design/UX stakeholders as well as your team to help define, design, scope, implement, and ship features and projects
- Work with designers to create layouts & user interfaces by using HTML/CSS best practices
- Build fast, intuitive, responsive, and secure web sites and applications
- Provide input on UX design & user interactions
- Fearlessly work across components and technology stacks to deliver business value to users
- Deliver high-quality, well-tested technical solutions that make sense for the problem at hand
- Help define, implement, and reinforce development best practices and processes
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular (preferred), Node.js, React.js, or jQuery
- Familiarity working with RESTful APIs
- Basic understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SCSS & LESS
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates & AJAX
- Experience working in the AWS ecosystem
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to work well in teams of all sizes with representatives from a diverse set of technical backgrounds.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills:
- Consumer product experience
- Experience working on a mobile product or at company with a mobile presence
- Start-up experience
- History of engaging with and contributing to open source communities is a strong plus
