Full Stack Software Engineer II

Our legal, compliance, and technology experts apply years of practical experience to help clients prioritize objectives, streamline workflows, and implement cost-effective and legally defensible solutions. We go beyond traditional methods of standard processing and search terms to help clients reduce their datasets - often by as much as 85 percent.
Our Big Data Analytics team is building the next generation of real-time, data-driven services that power machine-learning capabilities to our digital products helping out clients solve their most pressing legal challenges. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will bring solid experience in emerging and traditional technologies including: ASP.NET, MVC, ASP.NET Core, Node.js, React, Python, REST, NoSQL databases, relational databases, and Azure/Cloud Infrastructure to name a few.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop code to meet story acceptance criteria
  • Raise the bar for technical excellence and lead by example
  • Work as part of a dynamic team throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leadership on delivery strategy, roadmaps, and timelines
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, data scientists, and analysts to implement enhancements or new applications
  • Conduct design and code review to ensure compliance with standards and expected quality
  • Estimate level of effort to develop code to meet acceptance criteria
  • Remedy technical gaps and poorly designed software/architecture
  • Identify and reduce technical debt
Job Requirements:
  • Ex[experience in eDiscovery industry is preferred
  • At least 4 years professional development including strong competencies or expertise in
    • Application development language such as C#, .NET Core
    • Database development, query optimization and handling large datasets in a technology like MS SQL and No SQL technologies
    • Web technologies like ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core
  • At least 3 years of experience using relational or schema-less databases
  • At least 1 year of experience using JavaScript frameworks to include Angular, React, or Node.js
  • At least 1 year experience developing in utility cloud environment is preferred
  • Experience working in big data environments using technology like Kafka or Spark
  • B.S. in Science/Engineering or equivalent experience/certification preferred
  • The ability to work cross group to negotiate and resolve conflicting situations
