Full Stack Developer (React - Direct Hire) at Nesco Resource (Austin, TX)

SUMMARY:

The primary focus of this role is to build ASP.NET-based web and Windows applications for our business partners in the financial services industry. This role will design, develop, and test web and windows applications across the full Microsoft stack. The ideal candidate needs to be passionate about building high-quality UI. The work environment is fast paced where the ability to multi-task with competing priorities is a must.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential in order to work with different stakeholders within the organization.
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented principles
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Deep understanding of Visual Studio, C#, and ASP.NET
• Must have strong UI skills - JavaScript, CSS, HTML, React JS
• Excellent working knowledge of SQL Server and Team Foundation Server
• Must be able to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines
• Must be able to work with geographically disperse teams and stakeholders through both onshore and offshore teams
• Must routinely exercise independent judgment and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• 8+ years of overall experience building apps using the .NET framework.
• 6+ years of experience in creating web apps using ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC.
• 6+ years of C# programming experience.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL Server.
• 4+ years of experience creating Web Services, WCF Services, and Web APIs.
• 4+ years of experience of building UI using Bootstrap and React JS.
• Experience with ORM such as Entity Framework is an added bonus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, related field or Equivalent Experience.
• Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
