In the last years, we successfully built up an R&D company that develops great products using latest technologies. We do this with an unique approach: combining a fixed core team and a huge and strong community of developers, engineers, makers, hackers, and designers. In the community, there are freelancers, academic researchers, and senior elite students that then work on projects on a flexible basis.
In order to build a bigger and more advanced modular user interface for a people and project-management tool – which is vital for our day to day business and the work experience of over 800 community members, we are looking for a Frontend JavaScript Developer with potential long-term prospects. You will work with the development team in defining the REST interface and implementing new features.
YOUR PROFILE
- Experience in React.js (+Redux) and e.g. Angular 4+, Vue.js etc.
- Some experience with npm (yarn) and node.js
- You should have a deep understanding of working with REST APIs
- Preferrably: Familiarity with GitLab CI, Docker or similar tools is an advantage
- Preferrably: You have experience with at least one UI framework such as Material.ui or Bootstrap
- You have good feeling for web design patterns and understand the importance of UX/Usability
- Testing is not just an annoyance for you
- You are comfortable with software engineering patterns and know how to apply them
- You’re eager to further develop yourself technically and personally and looking for the right environment to grow
- You like to collaborate with designers, project owners, developers and stakeholders
YOUR ROLE
- Participate in the development of a large scale web application
- Collaborate with the dev team to design and implement new features
- Identify technical issues regarding application architecture or implementation and provide solutions
- Build responsive UI elements for desktop/mobile
- Maintain the integrity between frontend and backend components
- Support the designers and contribute to the look and feel of the application

The Hiring Process will look like this:

- We probably invite the 2-3 best candidates for one day in Munich with our Core Team
