Are you passionate about helping transform and shape the future of our product? Are you interested in joining a fast-growing software company? Calabrios Research and Development team is looking for a highly-motivated Database Engineer.
The Database Engineer will continue to help advance our software to the next level of quality and scalability by developing and implementing data and database solutions in a web-based, multi-tenant, secure cloud environment.
What Youll Be Doing
You will be working with people whose passion for creating outstanding software matches yours. You will be collaborating, brainstorming and working in an interactive, dynamic and rewarding environment that will challenge your skills and help you achieve the next level of your career. Using solid database development practices, you will work closely with product owners and other software engineers to build and troubleshoot scalable, high-performing data and database solutions in Amazon Relational Database Services (Amazon RDS) and Microsoft Azure Cloud Services environments.

Experience Were Looking For
- Developing database stored procedures, functions, views and triggers
- Developing data and database solutions in support of application development teams
- Optimizing T-SQL queries for performance
- Solving complex data and database related problems
- Developing in a fast-moving, dynamic development environment
- Communicating with internal and external customers
- Collaborating across departments and teams
- Experience using Amazon Relational Database Services (Amazon RDS) or other cloud services
- Developing within clustered and high availability solutions
- Developing distributed data solutions and replication strategies
- Experience with database versioning, change management, and automated database deployments
- Experience with data processing
- Experience leading small projects and tasks within a company
- A bachelors degree in engineering, science, or another related field
- 3 or more years of relevant work experience
