Windows System Engineer
The successful candidate must have enterprise experience in all server versions of Microsoft Windows server, Active Directory, VMWare and DNS. They must have the ability to learn and implement new technology developments while providing technical leadership within IT in keeping the Ally Windows Server Infrastructure current.
Server troubleshooting, Hardware experience and SCOM monitoring would be on the top of the list outside of the required PowerShell scripting
Like to have Exchange 2010/2016 Administration Experience, AWS experience, Skype for Business administration experience.

- In depth experience in Windows PowerShell scripting for daily health check and remediation.
- HP/Dell/IBM/Cisco Server Hardware experience
- Storage Experience
- EMC vMAX, PowerMax experience
- Powerpath experience
- Infrastructure Provisioning
- Security Standards
- Capacity and Performance monitoring
- As part of the overall Windows hosting team the candidate will also need a working knowledge of
- VMWare support with vCenter/vSphere
- Microsoft SQL (All Versions)
- Microsoft Exchange
- Microsoft IIS
- Ability and desire to work together as large team to perform all centralized Windows functions
- All members of the team will be part of a rotational on call cadence to supply Ally with 24X7 coverage
- Ability to refine the architecture and workflows to tune to scale based on the enterprise needs.
- Ability to present and advocate enterprise standards, technology standards, environment policies, procedures, strategies and best practices in working with different users, teams and application areas.
- Ability to communicate to and manage a wide user base in providing information, providing education and managing expectations in the process of the overall management of the service.
