We are looking for a Software Engineer to push the Schibsted Spains component team to the next level. You will be part of a cross-product team working with Agile methodology in a full-stack team. Your objective will be to perform missions. How this mission is solved it´s the teams decision.
The Component department is new and it now consists on only one team. Our strategy is to make it grow and we count in professionals like you to help us in that journey.
What will you be working with?
Mainly Service and Event driven architectures
Mainly REST APIs and Microservices with Java
Sometimes work with AWS automation tasks
Sometimes work on the Frontend with React.js
If you are interested: iOS and Android development
The following technologies are used in the components team:
Java (This is a must!)
SQL (we have high concurrency, queries must be efficient)
Microservices with Spring Boot + Spring Cloud + Netflix stack
AWS & Cloudformation (we are 100% on the cloud)
Kafka (we use that for messages and replication)
Docker - Who is not using that now?
RxJava (we are reactive)
DDD - We are inspired by this principles to design our software
