Product Management Director at Audible (Newark, NJ)

Audible is seeking a Director of Product to lead product strategy and to develop best-in-class Audible experiences for tens of millions of global Prime members (including Prime Day/Holiday promotions) across Amazon desktop, mobile web and iOS/Android Apps. This role will partner across Audible teams to influence customer experiences across Audible Apps/Web, Fire Tablets, Fire TV, Kindle E-Readers and Alexa devices. You will also partner with Amazon teams and other Prime constituents like Video, Music, First Reads, etc. for blue-sky opportunities. This role will dramatically affect our business in scales of magnitude and ensure Prime customers around the world have a best-in-class Audible experience.

This role will serve as a strong collaborative leader who will influence a cross functional team of stakeholders (at Audible and Amazon) and will be responsible for crafting and delivering delightful customer experiences that showcase the very best of Audible tailored for Prime members. You will be responsible raising the bar on the art of developing beautiful and category-defining solution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Establish and continuously update the vision, strategy and roadmap partnering with Prime and other Audible/ Amazon teams, while placing product innovation at the very heart of our Prime member consumer offering.
· Lead with a compelling vision that influences and drives commitment at all levels of the organization.
· Drive product development from conceptualization through launch creating actionable plans
· Manage the execution of initiatives from idea through launch, working with multiple stakeholders across the organization
· Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks).
· Partner with business to unearth opportunities that will have significant measurable impact
· Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility





BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similar technical area, or equivalent practical experience
· 7+ years of experience in product management
· Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically working as the product owner or scrum master on a cross-functional team
