Job Description
Diamond Game has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a technical assistant in a fast growing and dynamic gaming company. The technical assistant will be part of the software development team and assist developers in various tasks as described below. DGE is a casino and lottery gaming system provider for a multitude of different markets throughout the US and Canada. The position will be based in Chatsworth, CA and will report to the Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Validate and enter data.
- Generate SQL database scripts to update multiple databases.
- Update and maintain databases.
- Test applications to ensure functionality
- Make sure all unit tests are passing
- Assist in troubleshooting and setting up report/data viewing environments
- Support field in decrypting results
- Build release packages
Technologies (Will be exposed to these and will use mildly):
- Visual Basic / C#.NET
- SQL
- Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2008/2016
- SQL Server Business Intelligence Studio 2005
- Visual Studio 2005/2010/2013/2015
- Azure
- Git
- XML
- Batch files (.bat)
Candidates considered will meet or exceed the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in progress in a STEM field
- Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving/diagnostic skills
- Must be team oriented and have a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills -- verbal, written, and interpersonal
- Experience in relational MSSQL database (1 year) a plus
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) a plus
- Knowledge of relational databases a plus
