Job Summary

Compass Group, the world's largest contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as as DevOps Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Candidate will play a key role in helping CTG innovate faster through automating and streamlining the software development and infrastructure management processes. Most of these practices are accomplished with proper tooling and candidate will evaluate and implement the best tools for the team.
• Candidate will design, build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools to deliver applications to AWS environments. This includes the development and maintenance of CI/CD processes for all applications in Azure DevOps (VSTS) + AWS CodeDeploy.
• Candidate should be able to enhance the CI/CD process with key add-ins related to code analysis and security vulnerabilities.
• Candidate will be heavily involved with AWS CloudFormation and developing templates to describe and provision all the infrastructure resources in our cloud environment.
• Candidate must ensure that AWS CloudFormations are secure by using automated compliance policies, fine-grained controls, and configuration management techniques.

REQUIRED SKILLSET

• 3 plus years of experience in design, build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure.
• Proficiency with AWS CodeDeploy and Azure DevOps (VSTS) for automated build and continuous deployment.
• Proficiency with building mobile and web solutions in Microsoft technologies.
• Proficiency with MSBuild, GitHub, Team Foundation Server
• Strong background in Microsoft Technologies.
• Ability to maintain and dynamically deploy infrastructure using code in AWS.
• Nice-to-have skills
  • AWS CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy
  • AWS CloudFormation
  • Chef
  • Docker and container orchestration tools such Kubernetes.
  • Jenkins, Bamboo.
