As a key member of Product Management team within the Marketing organization, the Technical Product Manager (TPM), will lead large cross-functional teams through the development of new products using the PRD to create user stories, flows, matrices used in build phase, etc. to help drive BRD creation. As the TPM you will remain engaged during JADs & FSD creation on any changes to original design including overseeing testing efforts and reporting Transactional Views back to Leadership (QAT, UAT, CAT, NOD, BVT). You must be able to excel in a matrix organization, rallying and guiding internal and external support for your products and vision. You will be innately customer focused, able to balance competing trade-offs between customer experience and development and operational complexity.  Most importantly, you believe that traditional wireless is a broken industry ripe for mobile-first, Un-carrier disruption.
 
 

Responsibilities:

More specifically, this role will assume the following responsibilities:
Product Technical SME, responsible for translating the business vision into the technical build and designing/delivering the customer experience within the constraints of budget and time.
Owns the PRD, Customer Experience Flows and Transactional Views, developed in conjunction with Strategy.
Works closely with the Offers Team for projects that include offers component.
Responsible to review test plans, prioritize testing and ensure test teams thoroughly test business functionality before product is deployed into production (QAT, UAT, CAT, NOD, BVT).
Proactively identifies potential design issues and collaborates with cross-functional partners to resolve. 
Maintains Project Roadmap and reports back to Product owner any open items left, once  the project closes.
Ensure that product transition to steady state Operations Team is seamless.
Manage and coordinate with Vendor resources as needed to ensure a robust design with maximum configurability.
Work with Strategy and Ops to prioritize product backlog, defects, issues and pain points in production.
Provide consulting / guidance for other projects / products as to technical product architecture and capabilities.
Maintain Product Construct.
 
 

Qualifications:

       
7+ years of professional experience with 3+ years of experience building and launching consumer products.
Agile product owner experience managing an agile team, writing detailed business requirements, maintaining product backlog.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functionally, including technical, business and front-line resources 
Experience taking multiple products from concept to launch.
Wireless industry experience preferred.
Unusually strong commercial judgment and maturity.  Strengths in problem-solving and issue resolution.
Excellent organization and people skills, and ability to set priorities, problem solve, and multi-task in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.  A Master's degree in a technical field or an MBA is preferred.
