Job Description
This client is a fintech startup that is a subsidiary of a Fortune 100 company and is currently planning on rolling out their retirement investment web application by mid 2019. The company is looking to hire a Senior Back End Engineer that is particularly strong with Node.js and could take on lead responsibilities eventually.
*Client is open to Full Stack Engineers who are backend leaning
Requirements:
•5+ years developing in Node.js ideally
•Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
•Willingness and ability to touch front end technologies (React, Typescript)
•Ability to mentor other developers and eventually act as a lead
Pluses:
•Experience in a startup environment
•Prior experience with GraphQL and React
•Expert understanding of Node.js
•Experience communicating with technical and non-technical teams to make product and architectural decisions.
