Anocca is looking for software developers / engineers to join a small but integral team within in Anocca, to convert, expand, and build an in-house informatics and automation platform. The software system is at an early stage, and is to complement and integrate with Anocca’s biological Immunotechnolgy platform and workflows.

Applicants will be exposed to the forefront of biological and medical research, automation, bioinformatics, and scientific staff. Being a smaller company we are looking for people that are capable of adapting and moving quickly, who have multiple talents and can fulfil multiple roles as needed. Anocca is growing rapidly, with digitisation at the core of everything we do, so the growth in responsibility for the right person could be awesome.

Interested persons should have skills in the following:

• React, Apollo and associated technologies
• 
  

and/or

• 
  
• Fluent in Python and experience with Django Framework
• 
  

Have some experience with:

• 
  
• Git version control
• 
  
• Strong English communication skills and documentation ethic.
• 
  

 Desirable but not necessary:

• A good grasp of RDBMS, with knowledge in PostgreSQL preferred.
• 
  
• Grasp of Unix/Linux command-line (ubuntu flavour).

• Machine learning and data analysis
• 
  
• Systems and DB architecture
• 
  
• Some biology background
•
