We are an IT consulting firm based in Downtown Los Angeles and are looking to hire a Senior Windows Systems Engineer\Architect. This position is servicing our customers that 90% of which are in Downtown LA & West Side regions.
We are looking for a HIGHLY technical engineer. Everyone on our team is an expert in IT. Please be kind to us and to yourself and only apply if you have done the following projects before:
- Active Directory builds and GPO deployment
- Built and administrated production VMWare environment from the scratch.
- Upgraded and administrate AD, Exchange and SQL in the large enterprise environment
- Changed MX record of your server
- Troubleshooted NAS or SAN related issues
- Scripting and automation.
You must be an expert in the following arenas. If you are proficient but not an expert, please do not apply, you will not get the job and both of our times are going to be wasted:
- Expert in all things Active Directory related.
- Expert in Windows Server –(RDP, DNS, Powershell scripting, etc)
- Expert in VMWare and HyperV server virtualization
- Ability to setup, maintain and troubleshoot multi-node VMWare environment with shared storage using iSCSI or fiber
- Expert in Exchange\0365 and SQL
- Expert in LAN switching
- Expert in troubleshooting high level applications and hardware.
- Experience with routing

Role Summary:
Provides systems engineering services to our clients. The services include but are not limited to: strategies, architectural services, transition services, planning, implementation, and continual improvement of services, environments and systems. The Sr. Windows Systems Engineer\Architect is responsible for configuring and maintaining servers and other infrastructure components within the environment. This is accomplished through the proactive monitoring of the server hardware and operating systems and installation of patches, service packs and other upgrades to ensure high level system availability. The Sr. Windows Systems Engineer\Architect will also be responsible for engineering enterprise solutions to meet business goals and objectives.
Duties:
- Upgrades, installs and troubleshoots IT Server systems, hardware and software
- Planning and Implementation of services, environments and systems
- Storage system strategies, design and implementation
- Virtualization strategies, design and implementation
- Establishes virtual environments by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
- Provide desktop support, troubleshoot client base workstations and back-up systems, install and update patches on servers and workstations
- Develops and documents system standards
- Ensures that IT systems are secure and in compliance with established security best practices (PCI, SOX ... etc.)
- On occasion you will need to provide client's Executive staff with high level IT support
- Assist technical staff in making decisions about technical/systems development
- Assist management in the timely deployment of new systems while improving quality of IT work performed
- Travel and after-hours availability.
This is a permanent employment position, with a 90 day probation period.
