• Leadership experience
• Proven UI experience
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Co-ordination with offshore development team
• Ability to communicate both orally and written, using clear, concise, and understandable language
• Ability to recognize problem situations and escalate to the appropriate level when needed
• Influences decisions and outcomes through effective communication. Is Direct and straightforward when communicating
• Able to function independently in a multi-tasked environment, can be given a task and drive to completion without frequent oversight
• Ability to build partnerships and collaborates across teams within DQ&C and outside of DQ&C to achieve sustainable results
• Ability to manage and/or work with resources onshore and offshore
• Ability to plans, prepare for, and/or attend meetings as application proxy
