Immediate need for a talented Data Analyst. This is a 6 month contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located Charlotte, North Carolina. Please review the below job description and contact me ASAP.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead medium and high priority data remediation efforts for risk and regulatory reporting requirements, business data needs and business processes that impact the Enterprise.
- Lead the in depth analysis and sizing of medium and high priority data needs, understanding the impact of each need to Risk and Regulatory reports.
- Drive the design of near term solutions where appropriate.
- Solutions may require solving for a combination of policy and process gaps, designing new tools / systems or enhancing existing tools or systems, enhancing or correcting reporting logic, modifying data feeds, and/or correcting or enhancing data controls.
- While ensuring that near term and long term solutions satisfy both the needs and requirements of the Regulators, and the data needs and strategy.
- Drive the development of prototypes or proof-of-concepts as appropriate.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (including but not limited to technology partners) to define requirements and drive the implementation of solutions that resolve data needs, meet business needs, and satisfy regulatory requirements (where applicable).
- Build relationships and work with key internal partners.
- Provide data analysis support to audit and regulatory agencies, as necessary.
- Autonomously execute assessments or remediation plans as dictated by management, or collaborate with a team aligned against the same goals.
- SQL experience
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience
- Strong knowledge of Abinitio Metadata Tool
- Strong knowledge of Collibra Metadata Tool
- Strong Data Governance background
- Strong Knowledge of Master data and Reference data
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Ability to prepare and present senior level communications
- Ability to research, compile, and perform complex analysis on critical information security data
- Good quantitative analysis skills including statistics
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Security operations/ Reporting
