DevOps Software Engineer (m/f) - Platform
The smava’s Platform Engineering Team is building a Platform Infrastructure on top of a public cloud for our 100+ software engineers. We are migrating from Spring MVC to Spring Boot, microservices, React.js, and event-driven architectures. Our self-service platform vision is to allow developers to provision their own services and enable them to operate them robustly in production using Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins and Ansible.

Your daily business:
- Making our microservice infrastructure play well together
- Build and run the platform our software teams need for “you build it, you run it”
- Lifting us to the cloud with immutable infrastructure-as-code and self-service tools
- Eliminating toil by automating our software engineers out of boring, repetitive tasks
- Coaching the software engineers on how to use our platform infrastructure
To get things done you must have:
- One or more of mentioned: Java, Python, Node.js, Scala or Go
- Relevant university STEM education
- AWS or relevant Cloud technology experience
- Fluency in English
Nice to have:
- Software Engineering is appreciated
- Microservices
- Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Chef, Puppet
- Jenkins, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment
Awesome to have:
