Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Engineer (ISE) is responsible for supporting the ESET Sales team by providing technical presentations of ESETs solutions. The ISE provides product knowledge, technical product presentations, trial assistance, installations, training, and periodic assistance with customer service issues. This position works closely with the Field Sales Engineers (FSE) team to provide proper coverage for SMB sales opportunities, in order to drive revenue, support the ESET Partner community, and ensure customer retention. The Inside Sales Engineer is expected to be flexible and work independently in a fast-paced environment. This entry level to intermediate level technical sales role is for individuals who are hard-working, proactive, intelligent, team-oriented, and who have the drive to learn in order to effectively support the Sales organization by advocating the benefits of the ESET solutions and services to prospects, partners, and customers.


GOALS and OBJECTIVES:
Help drive revenue and support assigned Sales team goals.
Maintain effective demo readiness capability with regard to overall product knowledge and current sales toolkits.
Support Field Sales Engineering.


Essential Functions:
ESET solutions advocate. Provide pre-sale and post-sale assistance with intent to drive revenue, ensure customer retention, and maintaining proper customer satisfaction levels.
Assist Sales in the management of all phases of product evaluations including first-look demos, installations, and troubleshooting. Although less frequent, the ISE may assist with sales events, seminars, and in the overall development and management of ESET Partners.
Assist Account Managers in the qualification of clients and new opportunities who could benefit from ESET products or services.
Maintain awareness of competitors and competitive tools.
Provide product-based training to the Sales team and partner community.
Keep accurate Outlook calendar for scheduling of time by sales staff.
Maintain accurate and up to date information in Salesforce with regard to prospect, customer, and partner engagements.
Respond to email and voicemail per company policy.

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrate strong written, oral and presentation skills with the ability to discuss technical concepts to all audiences.
Must be able to articulate the importance of IT and data security and evangelize ESET as the leader in the IT and data Security market.
Experience with Windows and Macintosh Desktop Support and general Administration experience with major computer operating systems.
Experience with administration of Microsoft Sharepoint Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Windows Server, and Linux server.
Experience with Active Directory and related Directory Services.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases.
An understanding of computer networking, web technology, IIS, Apache, and certificate management.
Experience with mobile OS administration (Android and IOS.)


Requirements and Qualifications:
At least 1-3 years in a related technical field.


Other desired Skills or Education: 

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering. MCSE, A+, Security + certification preferred.
