As a part of a small collaborative team who are responsible for the infrastructure, tools, procedures and system development, you will be working on a mix of business process automation and system integration to improve the services we provide to our stakeholders, coupled with leading development work and some system administration.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will extract and clarify requirements and have the autonomy to direct strategy, methodology and technology selection to deliver those requirements. We have a major focus on improving efficiency through business process automation and to improve the services we provide to our clients. As such, we are undertaking several projects to integrate our various systems via ESB or custom middleware, and in some cases through new applications developed from the ground up.

Skills and experience
- Significant experience in developing efficient and maintainable code
- Previous experience and proficiency in coding in Python, NodeJS, Bash and Powershell scripting
- Data management skills including use of MySQL and MS SQL
- Familiarity with continuous integration, deployment and automation tools like Jenkins, Docker and Bitbucket
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Knowledge on fundamentals of Networking and VMware virtualisation
- Platforms administration, including configuration, deployments and operational maintenance of a Linux environment
